Our neighbourhood is becoming uninsurable

Worsening extreme weather means insurance is becoming more unaffordable and unavailable. Griffith and Brisbane federal electorates are ranked within the top 10 most at-risk to climate impacts in Australia. In Griffith, one in seven properties will become uninsurable within 10 years, and up to 50% of properties in West End, Fairfield and Yeronga will be considered high risk by 2030, with riverine flooding posing our biggest climate risk.
