New York City’s green infrastructure

The New York City government have spent over US$1 billion to improve the health of local waterways and mitigate flooding. In the early 2010’s they released plans for green infrastructure projects and better storm water management in new developments. This includes creating rain gardens, infiltration basins, stormwater greenstreets, green and blue roofs, permeable paving and more.
