Crystal clear blue

“There was a time when the Brisbane River was crystal blue clear. Then dredging started and the river hasn’t been the same since. Mangroves and vines were removed along the edge of the river. That’s when flooding starts because we’ve got nothing to help receive the rising waters.”

Uncle Willie Prince (Kalkadoon), Kurilpa resident since 1993
