CommunityPlus+

Community Plus+ run the West End Community House (WECH), West End Croquet Club, and Boundary Street Kiosk. They create safe and welcoming places where our community can connect, make art and music, and access nutritious food, housing and tenancy advice. They also support community members to respond to climate change impacts like floods. In 2011, WECH coordinated over 1,300 volunteers to deliver crisis assistance for local residents. Volunteers offered more than 6,000 hours of support during the fortnight following the event. Community Plus+ are here before the flood waters rise and long after they recede.
