Who could you help move?

Disasters magnify existing vulnerabilities in society. When planning for disasters, we should consider how impacts might put people more at risk than others. Older people, people living alone, with mobility issues, or with disabilities encounter various challenges. For example, some people may not be able to access warning information, lift objects to higher ground, or evacuate quickly.
