What is important to salvage?

In 2011, many people lamented the fact they had not tried to wash and save more everyday items like kitchen utensils, clothes and toys. “One of the nicest things someone did for me was to take a couple of tubs of plastic toys and Lego and wash these at home. With a toothbrush, I believe. It meant a lot to my kids.”
