“My housemate was isolating with COVID at the time of the 2022 floods, so I was staying with my partner. Although the apartment wasn’t affected, she was stuck in the apartment without power for a few days, unable to leave. Probably the worst time to catch COVID! We bought her a coffee every morning and would recharge her portable battery every day so that she could charge her phone.”
