Social costs of the 2022 floods

The cost of social and health impacts of the 2022 flood was estimated at $4.5 billion. Affecting over 500,000 people across South East Queensland, the disaster killed 13 people and injured 200 people. 22,000 psychological first aid visits were made, and around 46,000 reached out to Community Recovery for support.
