Disability emergency planning

Power outages and flooded streets can trap residents in their homes. This poses life threatening risks to people with disability or chronic health conditions who rely on power for communication, medical treatment, and equipment. Flooded streets also obstruct regular access to support workers and medical services. To prepare for future floods, people with disability and support networks can create emergency plans.
