Pets and wildlife

Keep your pet’s identification tags and microchips up to date. Store several days of medication, food and water, and plan secure transport or care arrangements in case of evacuation. For distressed wildlife, first seek advice from a trained wildlife rescuer or vet. Then contain it in a clean, covered box in a warm, quiet place. Never enter floodwater to rescue wildlife.
