Disproportionate risks

“Australians with disability experienced first-hand significant impacts and disproportionate risks to their safety and wellbeing during the recent 2022 floods in South East Queensland and New South Wales.”1 An important thing we can do is to think about who is in our neighbourhood and who our neighbours are, “because often, they are the people that you need to reach out to and have connection with”.2
