‘Death’ of community

After the 2011 floods, various divisions grew in some Brisbane communities. This included grievances over who was and wasn’t entitled to government assistance and property buy-back schemes. As well as appearance of rebuilt homes and insurance coverage. Some people experienced breakdowns of lifelong friendships or the ‘death’ of their community.
