Climate-proofing infrastructure

Infrastructure systems, like roads, power, water and communication, are at risk from climate change. The average benefits of climate-proofing new and existing infrastructure outweigh costs by 4:1. Deciding where and what to build or upgrade, prioritising green infrastructure, and maintaining operations even as damage occurs can protect infrastructure systems.
