Nepalese patterns for early warnings

Community-based early warning systems in Nepal identify patterns to prepare for emergencies. Patterns are found in wind velocity, star positions, outside temperatures and rainfall. They respond with emergency preparations such as stockpiling resources, raising essential supplies and living spaces, relocating animals to high ground and establishing evacuation routes.
