Adaptation is cheaper than rebuilding

Adaptating to climate impacts is typically cheaper than recovering and rebuilding after disasters. The overall rate on investments in improved climate resilience is very high. Every dollar invested in adaptation could result in $2 – $10 in net economic benefits.
