Flood Resilient Kids: Birdie's Tree Reading & Play

Support the mental health and emotional wellbeing of your children by preparing them for future floods.

Families with children aged 5 and under are invited to our Birdie’s Tree reading with the Disaster Recovery Team from Metro South Health at South’s Rugby Club.

This event will explore emotions and disaster resilience through play in an environment for babies and young children to learn about weather, climate change and disruptive events supported by carers.

Birdie’s Tree books on Flood and Storm are evidence-based resources that helps young children in preparedness, response and recovery phases of a disaster.

Light morning tea, coffee and tea is provided.
